DE3300/P Digital Avionics ARINC 429 Protocol Tester The Portable ARINC 429 Protocol Tester offers the power of a complex protocol analyser with the versatility of a ruggedised portable tester. Designed for use at all levels, in development, production and ground support. The Tester offers the user the ability to transmit, monitor in real-time or record 32-bit ARINC 429 data words. The DE3300B has a single receiver (Rx) and transmitter (Tx) which operate simultaneously and independently of each other. The Rx and Tx is each capable of operating at either 12KHz or 100KHz transmission rates. The Rx has a single label real-time monitor, a three label monitor with one second refresh rate and a 100,000 word acquisition memory. Each of these modes of operation has a 16 bit time tag. The Tx has a 255 word transmitter table with single-shot and repetitive outputs. The equipment is controlled via four front panel mounted soft-keys. Information is displayed on a 256 x 64 dot graphics display with backlight. The opto-coupled Rx provides the ability to monitor, search and record data defined by label, SDI, system, and data bit pattern together with an optional trigger. Captured data can be filtered for viewing by step, search and goto functions and displayed in binary, hexadecimal or engineering units.
